Orlando Pirates vs Kaiser Chiefs
The Soweto derby between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates is one of the most fiercely contested matches in world soccer, perhaps only upstaged in competitiveness by the Rangers vs Celtic derby in Glasgow, Scotland. And in contrast to most of the other games played in the Premier Soccer League in SA, matches between the two archrivals attract a full house almost without fail.
In November 2007, on the day preceding the 2010 Fifa World Cup™ draw in Durban, the Chiefs-Pirates derby was broadcast throughout Africa and 43 European countries, a first for South African football.
Once again KDR Travel and Soweto.co.za have put together a tour to this famous soccer derby with the same format that has proved so popular with our clients.
The package Includes:
- Transfers from Johannesburg in a luxury quantum vehicle
- Cooler box of drinks on the vehicle
- Services of an expert tour guide & separate driver.
- The guide will accompany the group throughout, including at the game.

- A drink (beer / cider or soft) at 3 local pubs / taverns
- Traditional Shisa Inyama (Braai/ Barbecue style) lunch at a local hangout
