| Located on the outskirts of White River, the hotel is nestled amongst over 30 acres of magnificent rolling green lawns and lush sub-tropical gardens with some of the most impressive river frontage winding its way through the estate.
The Lodge:
The hotel currently has 16 rooms and four suites that have all been tastefully decorated in Victorian, African Colonial, Provencal, Colonial and French Country furnishings and fabrics and offer guests luxurious comfort and secluded privacy.
Showers, set in private gardens planted with flowers of remembrance, rosemary bushes, are just one of the unique features that guests can enjoy when checking into the Victorian rooms.
Shades of Provence are present in the Provencal rooms – as the name suggests - and are home to ½ ton solid concrete baths that simply beg guests to take long, scented, luxurious baths.
The sumptuous Colonial suite offers guests their own private sitting room, private patio leading off the bedroom and original ball-and-claw baths in the classic black and white tiled bathrooms.
Satellite TV is available in all rooms as are well stocked mini-bars together with a tasty and satisfying 24-hour room service menu. Valet and laundry services are quickly and efficiently carried out with one call to reception.
The Honeymoon suite is an experience in itself. Designed as a completely open-plan experience, the gloriously decadent four-poster bed has pride of place in the suite. A private garden and splash pool ensures complete and total privacy for newly weds.
 Dining:
Jatinga’s A la Carte Restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers a varied and tempting menu that will satisfy even the most discerning diner.
The “Lord Milner” – the lodge’s pub – is the meeting place for pre-dinner drinks. The cosy atmosphere, enhanced by the pub’s vibrant burnt orange walls, tends to “capture” guests for yet another round!
By crossing the small private courtyard that leads from the bar, guests will find themselves in the snooker room where a game can be enjoyed.
Sundowners on the wooden deck down at the river are a must for guests wanting to take in some of the abundant bird life together with a breath-taking sunset.
Children Policy:
Parents with one child sharing are obliged to take a Luxury suite. Rate for child is R450.00 including breakfast. Standard suite rate for parents apply. Bed for child will be set up in the  lounge. This policy applies to children 12 years and under.
Parents with two children are obliged to take two rooms. Rack rate will apply for parents room, however they will receive 20% discount on children’s room. Rates include breakfast. This policy applies to children 12 years and under.
Parents with three children will have to take two rooms – as above – with an additional charge of R450.00 for the third child. A third bed will be put into the children’s room. Rates include breakfast. This policy applies to children12 years and under.
There is no charge for babies in cots.
Conference:
Jatinga caters for small, medium and large conferences with a fully equipped conference room that can accommodate up to 100 people comfortably.
Conference packages are available on request.
Weddings:
