Entabeni Safari Conservancy, “The Place of the Mountain”, is situated in the World Heritage “Waterberg Biosphere” of the Waterberg region. Less than a three-hour drive north of Johannesburg, this 2 2000ha malaria-free reserve boasts five eco-systems. The upper escarpment offers majestic craggy rock formations and wide open grass plains. This is separated from the lower plateau by 600 metre high cliffs. The lower escarpment is about three degrees warmer and comprises sandy wetlands.
Entabeni offers far more than the usual game sightings of the Big Five. Experience scenic helicopter flights, stargazing in the observatory, sunset lake cruises and a variety of game viewing activities and a 18 signature, PGA Championship Golf Course, The Extreme 19th and a Golf Academy.

 With the unique setting of the Entabeni Mountain reflecting off the tranquil lake the only thing left to ponder is what the culinary journey in the heart of the Limpopo Province holds.
To this end Lakeside panders to the tastes of its cosmopolitan guests by offering delicious full favour meals ranging from traditional dishes to classic European, all inspired by the cultural diversity that makes up South Africa today.
Using only the freshest selected produce the chefs seek to capture the spirit of the season. This creative team are continuously working on bringing to the table new and exciting dishes reflecting Southern Africa, or even greater, a combination of African and European cuisine.
Guests can expect dishes that tell the story of past and present and can therefore expect every meal to be an event beyond comparison.
Meals are served in a variety of locations ranging from Lakeside Restaurant to the boma set under night skies or various outside venues.
